AG STAY Co., Ltd. (“we”, “our”) operates the All Good Stay accommodation brand and the website allgoodstay.com. We handle personal information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (APPI) and this policy.

Information we collect

  • Booking information: name, email address, phone number, country of residence, number of guests, stay dates, and payment details processed through our booking system.
  • Legally required guest registration: under the Hotel Business Act and the Private Lodging Business Act we keep a guest register (name, address, occupation, nationality and passport number for guests without an address in Japan).
  • Inquiry information: anything you send us by email or phone.
  • Website usage data: access logs and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics).

How we use it

  • To process and manage reservations, payments, check-in, and guest support before, during, and after a stay.
  • To meet legal obligations, including guest registration and tax filings such as accommodation tax.
  • To answer inquiries and send essential messages about your booking.
  • To improve our website and services through aggregate, non-identifying statistics.

Third parties and processors

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers needed to run our business, under their own safeguards:

  • Hospitable Technologies Inc. (booking engine and direct-booking checkout, including its payment processor Stripe).
  • Booking platforms you book through, such as Airbnb, which handle your data under their own privacy policies.
  • Vercel Inc. (website hosting and cookieless analytics) and Google Workspace (email).
  • Public authorities where disclosure is required by law.

International transfers

Some providers above store data outside Japan (mainly in the United States). We take measures required by the APPI when personal data is handled in foreign countries.

Retention

Guest registers are kept for three years as required by law. Other personal information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above or for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements, then deleted.

Security

We limit access to personal information to those who need it, use reputable providers with encryption in transit, and manage credentials and devices under the responsibility of our representative director.

Cookies and analytics

Our own analytics are cookieless. The embedded booking calendar (booking.hospitable.com) may set cookies necessary for the checkout to work; see Hospitable's privacy policy for details.

Your rights

You may request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of your personal information as provided by the APPI. Contact us at info@allgoodstay.com and we will respond after verifying your identity.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The latest version is always published on this page.
