Unit 101 is a small separate ground-floor apartment with its own entrance, sometimes used by other guests. We are not on site but always a message away in the Airbnb app: directions, appliances, restaurant tips, luggage. We usually reply within minutes, a little slower late at night. Local staff can come by if something needs attention, and immediately in an emergency. The rest of the time the house is entirely yours. Kameari is a friendly, old-style Tokyo neighborhood in Katsushika-ku, best known to Japanese visitors as the home of the KochiKame manga: bronze statues of its characters stand around the station. It is quiet, safe and family-oriented, yet the center of Tokyo is only 15 to 25 minutes away by train, and Tokyo Disney Resort and Haneda Airport are reached by direct bus. Everything for daily life is at the door: the local shopping street with cafes, bakeries and small restaurants, 7-Eleven 2 minutes away, Ito-Yokado supermarket 5 minutes, and Ario Kameari shopping mall (cinema, food court, shops) 12 minutes. Ramen shops, izakaya, sushi and a halal kebab spot are all within a 5-minute radius. Kameari Park and Katori Shrine are 2 to 6 minutes on foot, and there is a traditional sento bathhouse nearby. Ueno (park, museums, Ameyoko market) is 15 minutes, Asakusa and Akihabara 20, Tokyo Skytree about 25. Tokyo Metropolitan Tobu Chiiki Hospital is 5 minutes away. For groups and families it is a calm base: see the busy Tokyo by day and come home to a quiet street at night. 🚉 By train (Kameari Station, JR Joban Line, 4-minute walk) • Ueno: about 15 min (JR Joban / Chiyoda Line) • Akihabara: about 20 min. Asakusa: about 20 min • Tokyo Station: about 25 min. Shinjuku and Shibuya: about 30 min • Tokyo Skytree: about 25 min ✈️ Airports • Haneda Airport: about 60 min by direct limousine bus (about ¥1,200), stop near the house • Narita Airport: about 45 min by train (Kameari to Aoto 13 min, then Keisei Skyliner 32 min) 🚌 Buses from Kameari Station • Direct bus to Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea 🚗 By car • Free parking in front of the house, large enough for an 8-seater van • Paid parking nearby if you have a second car 🧳 Luggage • Lockers at Kameari Station. Luggage drop-off before check-in on request. Ami was such a wonderful host. This is a great space to stay, it’s a very short walk to the JR line… it’s a very quiet neighborhood but you can certainly explore at night & see the tight knit communities around the area. Ami was very accommodating and the place was very pristine. The beds were comfortable and the set up is amazing. Will book again! :)

Beautiful, clean and modern place. Very comfortable beds and everything we needed for a great stay. The umbrellas came in very handy! Amy was very friendly and responsive and had many helpful recommendations. She even left snacks and water for us! Hope to stay again in the future.

Ami was a really responsive host! Proactively checking in and giving clear instructions on how to find the Airbnb and providing a manual that included how to use the washing machine and having local recommendations of things to do and places to eat. I really appreciated the luggage storage, the extra space was REALLY useful for 2 people with a checked bag each and a carry-on. It's also a walkable distance from a train station which made every day travel very easy to do. Harder if you're handling a lot of bags and trying to use the train systems. The location isn't quite central Tokyo so if you don't mind being 30mins-60mins out from some of the major areas like Ginza, Shinjuku, etc, this is a great value. Very peaceful and quiet area.

This place is very clean and the host is very responsive. Be mindful that there is only one toilet and one bathroom. Other than that, it is a great stay with good value.

We really enjoyed our stay in Kameari. The train station was a 5 minute walk and there were lots of great places to eat & shop around the neighborhood. The host was very responsive and checked in on us a few times to make sure everything was going well. Our departure flight was late so she was especially helpful in accommodating a later check out time with us. We loved Tokyo and highly recommend staying here!
